Azumu College Study Abroad OpportunitiesWorking with the slide master and slide show/presentations GETTING STARTEDOpen the file SC_PPT19_4b_FirstLastName_1.pptx, available for download from the SAM website.Save the file as SC_PPT19_4b_FirstLastName_2.pptxby changing the “1” to a “2”.o If you do not see the .pptx file extension in the Save As dialog box, do not type it. The program will add the file extension for you automatically.To complete this SAM Project, you will also need to download and save the following data files from the SAM website onto your computer:o Support_PPT19_4b_Globe.jpgo Support_PPT19_4b_Group.jpgo Support_PPT19_4b_Students.jpgWith the file SC_PPT19_4b_FirstLastName_2.pptxstill open, ensure that your first and last name is displayed in the presenter notes on Slide 1.o If the presenter notes do not display your name, delete the file and download a new copy from the SAM website. PROJECT STEPS1. As the program liaison for the Continuing Education Department at Azumu College, you are in charge of organizing and promoting opportunities for students to study and travel in other countries. You have created a presentation describing study abroad opportunities. Begin by modifying the Atlas theme in the presentation as follows: Change the theme fonts to Candara.2. View the Slide Master and then make changes as follows:a. Select the Atlas Slide Master.b. Change the background style to Style 2.c. Change the font size of the Master title style to 44 point.d. Rename the Title and Content layout Programs. (Hint: Do not include the period.)3. With the Programs layout still displaying, draw a Picture content placeholder anywhere on the slide master and then modify it as follows:a. Change the height of the Picture content placeholder to 1.5″.b. Change the width of the Picture content placeholder to 2″.c. With Slide Master view still displaying, insert a new slide master and format it as follows.a. Rename the Two Content layout Schedule. (Hint: Do not include the period.)b. Delete the right-hand content placeholder from the Two Content layout in the new Schedule master.c. Change the slide background to the Blue tissue papertexture.d. Insert the picture Support_PPT19_4b_Students.jpg.e. Crop the picture to the Teardrop shape.f. Position the cropped picture at the right side of the slide as shown in Figure 2.g. On Slide 2 (“Why Study Abroad?”), apply the Programslayout. (Hint: Programs may already appear as if it has been applied, but you will need to re-apply Programs to see changes.)7. With Slide 2 (“Why Study Abroad?”) still displaying, insert the file Support_PPT19_4b_Globe.jpg in the Picture placeholder.8. Hide Slide 3 (“Study Abroad Questions”) so that it does not appear during a presentation.9. On Slide 4, change the theme to Office for that slide only.10. On Slide 5 (“Current Programs”), change the slide background to a Pattern fill as follows:a. Apply the Horizontal stripes: narrow pattern. b. Change the foreground color to Blue, Accent 2, Lighter 60%.c. Change the background color to Blue, Accent 2, Lighter 40%.11. Adjust the timing for Slide 6 (“Program Dates”) so that it advances after 00:05.00.12. On Slide 7 (“Program Information”), use the Thesaurus to insert the first synonym for “assistance” that appears at the top of the synonym list.13. On the last slide in the presentation, modify the background as follows:a. Hide the background graphics.b. Insert the picture file Support_PPT19_4b_Group.jpg as the slide background.c. Change the Offset top to -4%.d. Change the Transparency of the picture in the slide background to 10%.14. Check the spelling of the presentation and ignore all instances of a suggested spelling change to “Azumu”.In Slide Sorter view, your presentation should look like the Final Figure on the following page. Save your changes, close the presentation, and exit PowerPoint. Follow the directions on the SAM website to submit your completed project.
